YSM keep charging $5 on the cc!!

I have created an acct with YSM (a prepaid one) and everytime the balance is low, it keeps charing $5. Yesterday, i have been charged $5 three times! The problem is, i don't want any more charges on that credit card. All i want is consume the remaining balance, which is about $18 and then close that account once the balance reaches zero.

Is there any way to remove the credit card that is on file to avoid yahoo from charging the card? Thanks in advance!

You must have 3 times of daily budget you set (or actually budget you use) in your balance. So you can't wait until your current balance reaches zero. If your balance comes below 3 times of daily budget, they will charge your CC with minimum charge you set (which is $5).

It's been resolved. A representative emailed me and said they set my account to Prepay-Deposit payment plan to ensure that the credit card is not automatically charged once the balance is low.

    Hmmm such a quick response.

Even though the account says, "pre-deposit" in your control panel. It's not actually set at a "pre-deposit" account, to keep your account from automatically being charged, you have to e-mail them or speak them on the phone and let them know you dont want your account to get automatically charged when low on funds and you want to add funds yourself when the funds are depleted.

They'll let you know it's a one time courtesy deal and if you change it back, you won't be able to change it back to pre-deposit.

They were able to set the Payment Plan to: None (as i've seen it on the account) instead of the original Prepaid plan. I have been told that the account will automatically be turned off once it reaches the zero balance.

Yeah, I was kind of shocked to see that they charged my credit card automatically when my balance went below my daily limit. I would have replenished the funds myself anyway, but I'd like to do it manually rather than rely on them to do it. I called tech support that day and they instantly changed my billing style to "none" and I can manually do all the money now.

This happened to me. I email customer support, they changed my payment plan and now everything is good.
I must say their support is much better than google, alot more personal.

    Hi Benz,

Sorry my bad, yea that was Payment Method. If that's set to None, then you will no longer be charged automatically.

Alright, just experienced the same thing.

A bank representative just called me and asked me if I signed up to some Yahoo thing, as he said I had been billed $5 multiple times in the morning. Sure enough, i checked online, and I had been billed 4 times. Requested for manual funding of account.

Find them really shady in doing this.... They should have an option to turn auto-billing OFF. We as advertisers should have a choice, and not be auto-billed by default. Only realized this today... grr

Dang. I sent them a support to ask them to switch it to manual, and they said sure, will do.

Not before I was billed 3 MORE times. What doucebags.

Warning to new Yahoo Search Marketing members: If you do not want multiple charges to your card, either set a higher limit (HIGHLY NOT recommended, as they do have have REAL time tracking), or call them right away to cancel that option.

Jeez, the way people do business nowadays...
