4. Use images near the ads to grab attention.
5. write your own Content, content, content.
6. update daily.
7. traffic, traffic, traffic.
8. dont put ANY animated ads or other ads near the YPN ads.
9. dont put ANY other links near the YPN ads.
10 you can use email sign up lists and then email users about your sites. they will then come to your site and click your ads.

My tip is all tips that applies to adsense ads are good for YPN as well. In fact it applies to any ads in general

 

One thing that helped with the relevance of ads on my site was ad blocking. Use it!

After blocking a few of the mortgage and vonage stuff, I am getting more relevant ads more often.

 

I notice that too, but when i tested on my sites, a chunk of my cash went down. Some of those ads pay very high.

 

Blocking vonage etc is good tip actually. However depends on nitche of your site, if by blocking vonage, mortgate ads one is getting relevant ads, the CTR will definite go up. If your nitche is better paying, you have all to win by blocking vonage stuff

 

Would it be a good idea to block "free ringtone" ads even if they say something like "Free television ringtones" and my site is about television? I have a feeling that these may be low paying.
