    I'm not using YPN myself but I have heard sites with high traffic don't display any stats on hit made which seems to be quite suspicious...

    Maybe Yahoo! should allow for alternate ads for non-US visitors. It would be fun to plug my Adsense code in there.

    YPN kicked me out yesterday, luckily I kicked them out of most of my sites weeks ago for poor performance. They are no threat to Google for a long time with either their YPN or their YSM (pain).

    I think I had around 82% US based traffic from all my sites, it's hard to calulate. Still my numbers are pretty high and that doesn't leave alot of optimism for people stuck in the program.

    I have heard that they will pay you late, and you will only receive money based on U.S. traffic.

    Even if they allow traffic from the world I would be hesitant on the conversion aspect.... will they kick me out for not enough conversions.

    Don't get me wrong though, I still think they have better customer service than Google ever will.

    I'd say as long as you aren't doing anything too entirely "sneaky" to get clicks, you don't have to worry about the conversion rate.

    And giving the boot for low conversion rate isn't exclusive to YPN. Other ad companies do it as well.

    YPN called me today asking why I havent activated my account - I have been following this thread to I decided to throw out the question if I get international traffic and clicks will I get banned? and what % needs to be US based?

    The guy told me any international clicks will get me banned but I can use a script to block ads from showing outside the US. I asked him where can one get the script? which he said that YPN cannot provide me with that info :confused:

    Jes do they really want publishers?

    I could swear that they put the whole international visitors thing in there as an excuse to ban people for other reasons....it applies to virtually anyone...and they're banning people with 80% int'l or 20% int'l.

    I've never seen anything more inconsistent in my life. Even low-life garbage ad networks have US filters. Why can't the biggest Web site on the Internet?

    It's not just a theory. It's what the Terms and Conditions say:

    Section 11.j
    Abuse of Services. You agree not to:
    display all or part of the Ad Unit to any user located outside the US;

    They don't even need to click on the ad -- all they have to do is see it.
