    You can download it here:

http://phpadsnew.com/two/features-geo.html - get the geolite from maxmind.

Not to hijack this thread, but I have the same issue. I have a gaming site with refinancing ads. I hope YPN doesn't expect any sort of conversion on clicks on those ads..

Guys, do yourself a favor and do not click on that red button. really boring  and it takes 10 mins of your time if you are stubborn. worst, it loops.

NOT even that....... I actually have YPN ads that say "UK Credit Cards" come apply or some shit like that. If they don't want clicks from outside the USA..... then they should can those ads. ;)

I think that Yahoo monitoring conversions and banning people who are producing bad conversion rates is one of the most pathetic things on the web...if it's true.

Publishers shouldn't have to live in fear that their account may be banned for some ignorant reason.

Does anyone(company or individual) have a database with just the United States IP address ranges?
It would be much easier to right a PHP script of the IPs that it is OK to show on rather than the IP's it is NOT OK to show on.

EDIT: I also went through and tried to find all documentation about the US based traffic. None of what I could find talked about removal from the program but FUND CORRECTIONS. There is no reason a person should not be paid for the US traffic they did send.
    ----------------
    E-mail Invite:
(Please note that during the beta period, Yahoo! is only able to serve or accept U.S.-based publishers with a valid Social Security or Tax ID number, and with web site content that is predominantly in English and targeted at a U.S. user base.)

    Terms and conditions:
Overture's payment to you will be based on the net revenue earned by Overture from the Matched Ads displayed on Your Site and/or Your RSS Feed(s) to human users within the United States.

This is what confused me. I figured they would just filter out clicks from international users and not pay me for them. So I did no filtering myself. Then I got kicked out for serving too much international traffic. And I have received nothing for November ("Still under review"), but certainly part of my earnings from November came from the US, so I should get paid for that.

You definitely should and, if you don't, that's complete bullshit.

It's what Google does to hundreds, if not thousands. I know someone personally who Google owes $10,000. They banned them for "invalid" clicks. There were no freakin invalid clicks, and Google should be advanced enough to not count clicks from the same IP. How hard can it possibly be?

Living in fear of being banned by these PPC companies because they don't give two bits of horse dung about publishers is for the birds. When I see that I earn $15k for the month, I shouldn't have to wonder if I'm actually going to receive it because 1) some foreigners clicked the ads, or 2) some jerk clicked my ads over and over and over.

Seriously, the relationship between PPC companies and publishers is absolutely horrible.

If I were earning $15K a month and get banned from Yahoo, I would sue them

With some clever geotargetting you could only serve the ads to US traffic, therefore the problem would be solved.

I have a complete free script if you're interested.

    No problem :)

There is a quick guide here:

    http://forum.phpadsnew.com/index.php?showtopic=7322

When you have your first banner running, you can choose delivery restrictions and say it should only serve ads to this or that country or region.

Sue? For what? Technically, I broke the rules (serving ads to international users). It doesn't matter that I think the rule is impossible to follow, and that it's being applied unfairly (some people's sites with international traffic are ok, others are not). I broke the rules, my mistake, I can't sue.

However, they should still pay me, I think, for the US traffic I did serve. However, only YPN knows exactly how much that is, and I'm kinda at their mercy there. I do think that they're handling it poorly, by not telling me when they will pay me my owed money, but again there's not much I can do except complain on here. ;-)

Agreed, living in fear of being kicked out is not worth the time actually setting all of this stuff up. That may be my opinion....

In any matter I hope that people from YPN actually read this forum and understand that we are not trying to rip their customers off we are trying to serve ads so we can get paid. I am an internet marketer and if some bum in an office high above manhattan can't get off his ass to get traffic to his site then leave it up to me to line his wall with cash cause I'm willing to take a small percentage off of it.

It is a shame that so much time and effort by developers go into making these PPC programs but the simplist thing like blocking traffic that is undesirable or traffic that is actually fraudulant isn't blocked automatically.

To add insult to injury it is even more impossible to get a hold of someone that actually runs the program or is more then a simpleton answering a call center.

    Go Go Gadget AFFILIATE PROGRAMS!!!!

We're assuming they benefitted. I have zero proof at this time that they got paid for any of my clicks in November (if they were 100% international, they should refund them to the advertisers and not pay me).
