What will be the next step in Publisher accounts for publishers to make money?

Are we just stuck with PPC?
    What about mobile phones PPC?

worst case scenario: the program gets scrapped
best case scenario: things go back the way they were @ the beginning.

my prediction: things will improve but not to the max we saw b4.

I highly doubt it will ever get ppc on phones...phones do to much dumb stuff now, other than just being a phone...

Yes, please! Let's keep phones ads free. I know that the cell phone networks are planning "opt-in" advertising to appear soon as if I or anyone else would be interested in more advertisting garbage!

maybe im misunderstanding the OP. ppc is the bottom of the barrel. while it can be very lucrative, there is so much more money out there for the smart webmaster. ppc just happens to be very easy. place the ads, get clicks, get paid. if you have the stats, you can do so much better than ppc, although ppc is a nice add-on for extra money to your existing models.

imo ppc will fade away as roi's continue to drop for advertisers and more competition rises within the global economy that has yet to truly ignite. CPA / Affiliate resales is where to really make big bucks and also where the advertises and networks will want you to go. advertisers want action, and they will pay more for it. this makes sense since their is no "conversion" metric to worry about. they get paid. you get paid. i would think that the top of hill, if you have the stats, is to become the business that you used to publish ads for. for example. if you are an affiliate reseller and you are selling product A and its converting very well for you, it might be time to scrap the affiliate side of that and actually purchase an inventory of that product. everytime money goes from 1 had to the next, a little is taken off. the idea is to get as much of the pie as possible. in that concept of money going from 1 hand to the next, where do the ppc publishers stand?

    as always, jmo
