YPN taking nearly 30% out of my revenue?

In February I made a fairly good amount of money. About 1/3 of that revenue was for advertising my websites. When they finally paid on the 26th of this month, I took a 28% hit on my revenue.

My websites run geo software to insure all visitors who see YPN ads are within USA, while international visitors see Adsense ads.

Are they taking a chunk of change out for taxes?

    Anyone know? :-(

    Thanks guys!

if they take anything out for taxes it would be because you a) asked them to or b) you are subject to backwitholding from the irs.

regardless, if money was removed for taxes, you would see that in the payment history window.

assuming that this is 0, ypn revenues are estimated values only and are only calculated for final value just before payday. there are a number of various reasons why ypn may have deducted revenue from your estimated total. you should contact ypn and ask them.

find out why they did that......never happened to me and I don't know why they would do that without telling you the reason.

    Wow, are you guys serious?

Yahoo takes as the guy stated above, 30% of my monthly earnings and reports it as income to the IRS. I believe this is standard to most publishers. This is not new news to me.

You can get the money back if you file your taxes at the end of the year like I have, I should receive all my money back from the IRS, by April 10th of this year so I have heard.

    So all is well here.

they will only take money for taxes if you; a) specifically ask them to or b) are subject to backwithholding

Hillary probably go after Adsense earnings, just like Gore wanted to.
    Hope she not elected.
