    Great not only will be finding tons of 'Created for Adsense sites' in the UK, but we could have YPN created sites too - say no to YPN is what I say - keep the crap off the net.

    Well I was accepted into YPN when living in the States and because their support had no clue in what they were talking about I decided against placing the code onto my pages.

    Glad I didnt now as they are proving to be slow on the ball and their remarks on traffic from Ireland, well dont get me started on that I'll wait to hear what YahooSarah says about the "stupid" statement.

    What annoys me is that both Yahoo and Google are trying to stop spam and crap in it's search results but then they provide such a resource that means thousands of people will create sites, just to earn an income from Adsense or YPN - these sites have no unique content, and are known to steal content from other sites just to offer some sort of content in between the ads.

    In my opinion it's these advertising revenue programmes that have cluttered up the internet with crap

    <end of rant>

    This thread is to funny......You have people complaining because an AMERICAN Company limits what IT does with its testing.

    Beta is Beta and they have the RIGHT to do as they please. Any Company in the UK or anywhere else in the world can do the same if they want.

    It will open when it opens.....Complaining does nothing.

    Just my opinion

    every product or service has its beta stages and YPN is also in its feedback
    they are collecting lot of feedbacks from its publishers through surveys and they will want to make more ammendments before going global. It only a matter of ime before hey decide to launch it internationally. Y! was first into search marketing before G.

    imo, ypn is hyped up. the ads have uglier fonts and are hard to optimize (especially since they don't allow images near them).

    jkomp, if you're interested i can let you run them for a day to get an idea of results.

    I support it, its very difficult to get targeted ads (even if there are advertisers and your site content matches the niche....yahoo just sucks with targeting)

    Not to sidetrack but if Google is thinking global in all in beta approach, why is Google Checkout restricted to the US only ?

    I believe now that YPN is only US-centric, it helps the advertisers to hone in to their target audience and payout happens to be much higher. I understand that it is easy to get several dollars in YPN payout compared to Adsense payout for the same amount of work. I believe that when YPN gets out of beta and goes global, the payout rates would be diluted to roughly that of Adsense.

    Yea, i find it funny there in beta for so long. Doesnt look like anyone is having any bugs with it. When YPN was released i was like 'yay, cant wait until i can join', now im thinking 'hmmm, i may try it out but ill probably go back to google'
