so seems that someone from yahoo was looking at my website - just one index page thou. Still no email or impressions ...

 

I don't think these guys are any good.
It doesnt seem or look Official. Perhaps tell Yahoo about it and see if they say its not actually them? haha.

 

Well I got a reply from the support ticket. The reason for the lack of stats is that they are not live till this weekend. I might try them again after the weekend although I think they should have let us know as having their non paying ads on my sites lost me money.

As for the ads displayed they do not seem to be as well targeted as Adsense, although that is to be expected. The plus side is that their ads are customisable and you can suggest keywords although there is not much help on the site for this.

As they have replied I think I will give them a second chance but I am remaining cautious.

But good coz at their FAQ, it write

There are no limits as to how many ad blocks you may show per page. All we ask is that they match your content.

What about sites with adult or gambling content?
Yes. We do provide banners for sites of an adult or gambling nature

but sadly, their focus on UK at the moment
and seem like many people give negative comment

 

If they are going forward with this, get ready to see webpages so filled with ads that you can't see the content.

I managed to sign up and created a quick add ok , my impression is the subjects need to have more detail. I created an add for a shares related web site and all the topics are business. Any one else any advice ?

 

I just got the knock back from Adshack, guess i don't have a spammy anuff site.

 

They are surely checking this thread and closing accounts who caught them cheating on publishers.
My account got closed after posting here. No reason given and not even contacted.

I dont think that they are a respected company ..

 

I`ll wait until Yahoo either officially states that they are using another company as intermediary, or, they decide to go global themselves.

 

Id stay away from this. If they are removing accounts for simply posting about it, and not enjoying the advertising, then something is obviously wrong.

 

If had the code up and the stats still show no impresstions while the google stats are showing iv had over a few thoushand impressions. Is this some sort of scam?
