YPN locks publishers from tax info changes

Discussion in 'Publisher Network' started by mjewel, Nov 29, 2006.

I just noticed that Yahoo has locked the tax information page from any changes. This should prevent the selling of YPN accounts (which has always been against the TOS).

"To prevent accidental modification, the Tax Information page has been locked from modification. If you need to change your business status from a sole proprietorship to a corporation, please contact Customer Solutions. Please note that a transfer of account ownership is not supported."

I wonder if they would let a guy change the tax information like in january.. for example if someone is retiring from the business and handing it over to a relative?

That's correct. They don't allow any transfers. They don't allow a name change on the account unless you provide them with documents that you are putting the account into a corporation you have formed. If the account was already in a corporate name, then they wouldn't know if you sold the corporation.

definately a great improvement. if you are clever about it, there are more than a few ways to sell / transfer your account.

HAHA are you kidding? Half the newbies don't even read these posts to know this stuff so they will keep asking if someone will sell them an account.

Yahoo is run by smart people, sooner or later they will figure out a way to stop the sale of the invites permenantly.

You can still sell invites which go for 2x what an account goes for. Sales will continue and huge sums of free cash will be made.

    Cheers
