clicks not converting is a very poor excuse if you ask me its not the publishers job to convert sales its the advertisers...

You have to diversify your income streams. even though it takes a lot of work. My goal is to have alf my revenue come from YPN and the other half CPA/affiliate. I know yahoo pays better than most if not all monitization programs but there is less stability since at any given day at any given moment yahoo can pull the plug on your account and there isnt much you can do about it.

YPN kicks out publishers who's sites dont convert to sales for the advertising client which is totally retarded because if the publisher is delivering the clicks to the advertiser they are fullfilling their part. If the visitor does not convert then it is either do to a misleading ad or low quality site or something else that is the advertisers responsibility not the publisher.

YPN is doing some house cleaning lately as I also got the boot a week ago. I received an exact same form letter as others (posted at Sitepoint). The reason they gave me was for "poor quality traffic".

The site that was doing well for me were the arcade site and the traffic wasn't 100% US based so that might explain why they considered the traffic was poor quality.

Anyway, they are still in beta stage so when they come out of the beta stage, it should be still be open to those whose accounts were terminated from beta program.

Damn...how many publishers did kicked out last week? 1000s perhaps? It seems every month or two yahoo goes on a termination sweep.

Interesting man, these guys are shady, now for any company cash flow/float is very important, for example that is why paypal LOVES disputes and takes as long as possible to solve them because they gett o float the money well ypn is doing the same thing

Account got canned for not liking the traffic, fine.

THEN they go back, remove my verfied social, and tell me i need to send in a w9 which oculd take 2-4 weeks to approve. LOL what a joke

Yea but atleast they are gonna pay you

Google, on the other hand, takes your money.

And you can rejoin later after the beta.
