Is there anything stopping you going with both YPN and Google (if you haven't been banned, of course)?
They all are pretty shit tbh, they take huge cuts, they always refund clicks and shit. Adbrite is ok but still they rip us off as we do the hardwork we should get 95%!
Well, that ain't gonna happen. They did all the marketing and initial work to get where they are now, so we're riding on their coattails. Like it or not, we take only what they give. Still, your complaint raises an interesting possibility for the serious entrepreneur...
Well, as long as my humble knowledge shows, both YPN and AdSense pay you for impressions, the thing is that AdSense have more advertisers in overall. But yahoo have more advertisers in some niches and areas (geo locations) This basically means, if you had a big website, you could try both of them, to watch if you niche has more advertisers in google or yahoo. Experimenting with both systems is good if you have geo-located website, some towns, or even states, have more visitors on yahoo not on google. I know good niches for yahoo are these: finance (and everything thats connected to money and banking i guess), cars? and job occupations. Lets say if your visitors are grown ups, you definitly should consider to try yahoo My post is a little bit off-topic but what could i say more about your 2 dollars ?
Geez, people read. How much will I earn through this program? Yahoo! Publisher Network ads are sold on a cost-per-click basis, so advertisers are charged only when Internet users click on their ads. While we cannot estimate the amount of money you could potentially make, the highly targeted nature of these ads can help you to effectively monetize your website. http://publisher.yahoo.com/sell/FAQs.php
Well I'm guessing not lying... i've seen that a lot of people lie about their info. I had actually forgotten I had requested an invite until I got the email.
I converted to YPN and was shocked on the much higher pay out per click. As LoonM mentioned, the financial links are pretty good money.
Interesting trend... I just signed up for YPN and was starting to mix it in with AdSense to test it out. While browsing my site, I noticed that the Yahoo skyscraper ad had loaded with a single text ad in it. That's when I decided to give up on YPN and stick with AdSense for now. - Walkere
YPN is useless and not available worldwide... Now, if you are on to paid per impressions, go to adlandpro.com. They pay $5 per 1000 impressions..
I have been with Yahoo for over a year now. Yahoo was lacking so I switched to Adsense and its lacking even harder. I avg with Yahoo around 25,000 impressions and about 15 - 20 clicks. Used to make about $15 with that. Now days make about $10. But with google I made about 30 cents. No typo either. 10 DOLLARS with Yahoo and 30 cents with Adsense. No site changes. wasn't even a week apart. For those worried about either. Casale Media or Tribal Fusion is your site is huge. Casale should be easy to get into and pays for impressions Yippie! right? Tribal is the same but requires a staggering 2000 uniques daily and I personally only avg around 450 - 550. Umm there are more choices though friends. If you are a really desperate individual, pm me and I will help you out with some more options that you have.
I was a bit put off by Tribal's high requirements, too, but I suppose it's just to keep the publisher quality high. At this point my site is at about the same level as yours, but I wouldn't see it as implausible to reach a 2k/day average within a few months. As for other options... Widget Bucks - Two Thumbs down. PPC seems to be ok, but their CPM ads are poor quality and worth crap. AdsDaq is interesting. I've only been with them a few days, but it seems promising for a way to increase your ad earnings. ValueClick is supposed to be good too, and I'm thinking of trying them in a month or two along with AdsDaq to more or less eliminate AdSense. - Walkere
I read it somewhere, YPN gives us option to get payment in Paypal is that true ? has anyone received payment in Paypal through YPN, do we need a verified paypal account to receive payments?
