If you like seeing your channel data quickly YPN is not the best. Adsense is near live and YPN's Tuesday reports at 6.12am have not yet been posted. That is more than a 30 hours delay.
I don't care if i see my report after 1 day even. only thing i care is I am making more $ from it. Simple, Yahoo pays me more.... sir, i think Yahoo publisher is better then adsense.
YPN only has 100 channels so if you have a few websites you can't use YPN only unless you don't use channels. You have to use something else also.
Compelling argument In any event. The story goes like this (from my experience, of course) - YPN (if you believe the hype) pays more per click in most cases. They also are not as good at G at serving up relevant ads, meaning a lower CTR. So - HIGHER pay per click, LOWER number of clicks G pays less per click in most cases. They are also far superior to YPN at displaying well targetted ads, meaning a higher CTR. So - LOWER pay per click, HIGHER number of clicks It really depends on your sites content. Can you fit into one of YPN's pre-defined site categories so the ads make sense to your visitors? Or better yet - do the YPN ads that you've tested on your site seem relevant? If so I would choose YPN. Otherwise, go the G route and get the extra clicks that might pay a little less per click.
I went from 20$ - 30$ per day on one site by switching from Yahoo to Adsense. The lower pay per click was far outweighed by the higher ctr on adsense. It's a site with many home improvement articles. At least in this niche, adsense is better for me.
I agree YPN is better than adsense in a lot of cases. If you've got the right niche Azoogleads or Commission Junction may be best however. They bring you one step closer to working directly with the advertisers so you'll get less middlemen and more money, only if you've got a narrow enough niche though.
