Right now, the Yahoo Publisher Network program is only for residents of the United States.

You don't need an invite. If you have a US presence, with a US address and the necessary US incorporation papers, SSN, TFIN, etc. you can apply at http://publisher.yahoo.com/

That is good point.. I don't remember how Yahoo is setup, but you can't change payee information in Adsense.. So there would be no real way to transfer an account.

So did you not read the thread? If you have US component to your company, then have them sign up at Yahoo; it's not like people are sitting on hundreds of invites like gmail - now, one of those you can have for the asking.

    Dear XXXXX,

Thank you for applying to participate in the Yahoo! Publisher Network beta program. We're excited to let you know that your application has been accepted and you can now proceed with creating your account using the link below:

    https://publisher.yahoo.com/signup/?betaKey=
This link is your unique access key. It is non-transferable n-and may be used to create one account only. (Please note that during the beta period, Yahoo! is only able to serve or accept U.S.-based publishers with a valid Social Security or Tax ID number, and with web site content that is predominantly in English and targeted at a U.S. user base.)

The new Yahoo! Publisher Network self-serve platform:

This invite says its non-transferable..so how are ppl on ebay selling them?

Even if selling invites on eBay was possible, I think that using a purchased invite to get into the beta program would be a bad start to your relationship with the program. It takes a while to get in, but if you have a quality site(s) then you should eventaully get invited through the normal process.

    As always, IMO.

You will also notice that all auctions for YPN invites are being cancelled by eBay. Nintendo must have nabbed one of the couple that squeaked through before they started ending them, or snagged on a Buy It Now before eBay got it ;)
