    Can you plz help me out what does it mean?

    Example: (818) 555-1234 x5678

    818 = Area code

    555 = Exchnage

    1234 = Station Number

    What does x5678 Mean?????

    try without the "x"?
    or it could be a sort of extension that can be used instead of 1234

    Its an optional field thats not needed, the extention number for whatever party you want the call forwarded to :)
