YPN Dissappointing so far

I tried running YPN in place of Google ads on one of my sites. For the first few days, it was maybe 10% less than Google Adsense, but it seemed promising. Then it just got worse. I'm switching back to Adsense. I may try another experiment on another site shortly.

You need to test it out on all your sites. If it doesn't work on one it doesn't mean it can't work on other kind of sites.

This happened to me for the first couple of days. Then, YPN announced ad targeting.

After using it, earnings went throught the roof!

Unfortunately, ads seem to be reverting back to the same untargeted mess they were before.

Ditto, it worked better than G's ads that were targeted towards my content.

And that is the thing I am wondering about.. my click payments are substantially higher, so the nature of the non-targeted ads might not be a problem.. Although in the long-run it could be an issue.

I just have a hard time adjusting because I am so used to my adsense ads being issued with pinpoint accuracy. And I can't keep my hands off switching between targeted and non-targeted ads...

My click rate has clearly dropped due to the ads I am getting, but I will have to give it some time and see how it plays out.

Yesterday I was making low $xxx and today I'm down to low $xx for my network of sites...not sure what the deal is here, but the ads definitely lost their targeting over the last day or so.

I tried YPN on 2 of my sites with and without ad targeting. Shortly thereafter I went back to G ads because the CTR with YPN was around 0% (my adsense CTR is much better than that ;)). The placement and ad colors were the same

Well, for about four days YPN was heaven. The CTR was bad but the EPC was fantastic and the earnings, paradise. But...

the past three days have been miserable. So, I guess its back to Adsense.
