aaron - look at "view payment history" to see if you have a check pending ... another posibility is that they are still gradually validating the clicks - "available balance," as I understand it, is the balance that's been approved, but hasn't been paid yet via a check (they say it's available because you have the option to transfer it to an overture account)
Yeah, I don't understand wha tis going on... this was my first month on YPN and here is what it is telling me... what does this mean? My end of month balance for Nov was $21.03... perhaps it is from then?
My available balance always says zero. You either have an overture account, haven't added your payment information, or since you haven't reached the $100 minimum payout, the $21.03 would be what is available for transfer to overture or kept on account until your reach $100 - at that point, a check will be sent. My payment pending is actually for about $5 more than the daily record shows. That's the first time that has happened. It's usually matches exactly.
so when can we expect our checks in the mail after we see the pending check in our publishers account?
hulo, i know why it says 21.03 its becuase YPN payout is 30 days, so that means that 30 days after the month you get a check, so if its your first month, then you have to wait for next month to get check, so you will get a check for the month before. after 2-3 months you will get a check monthly
You just haven't seen it say something different. This is my 2nd month with them and when I checked (my avail balance has always said $0) it was at $x dollars - when i refreshed 5 minutes later it was $0 again and I had the check pending. It transfers to available balance and then to check pending quickly - so you often never see the change.
They say 45 days, but they usually cut the check around the 5th, so you will get your payment by the 15th. You won't get a check for $21.03 because the minimum payout is $100. I think you can transfer amounts under $100 to overture.
I have XXX amount for December, have not received the check yet. When do I report that income to IRS? Should I report as income for 2005? Thank you, st12
I believe this is untrue. I spoke with a YPN rep yesterday, and he said that they only report amounts paid during 2005 to the IRS. Since the November and December checks will be dated, mailed, and deposited/cashed in 2006, they count as 2006 income, not 2005. In fact, YPN will probably have to report to the IRS and to its publishers an official amount of money paid in 2005 before they even cut the December checks.
