I always use 250x250 or 300x250 and the best thing i like about yahoo is they ALWAYS SHOWS full ads. They will at least show something even if the ads are off-targeted. Adsense is different. Sometimes, their smart-ass technology will detect something like" We will show you the highest paying ads first, so we give you 2 ads instead of 3 ads in 250". And this is all randomized, you cannot choose to only show 2 ads or 3 ads. Sometimes, its 2 sometimes its 3. And this makes the page design very ugly. I hate seeing bigger fonts ads in the page if compared to other normal fonts. What you guys think?
I think Yahoo! is striving to make sure that their ad spots are filled. Since a click is better than no clicks. I will take a quarter from a non-targeted ad then nothing from an empty spot.
Exactly. And i care bout my site's design, although they are not so great, but big-stretched-fonts made me stop updating my adsense sites lesser. Instead, i switch more to ypn. Oh yea, those using images besides ads, missing ads will be a pain in the ass since the original attempt to assign images next to ads is not working anymore.
I hate the issues that they are having, but what can you do about it sometimes except just accept it.
THat problem with Adsense makes me so mad....it really does make the page look ghetto. I use the 336 block and it shows 2 ads instead of 4 80% of the time.
