I work for the extremely large supermarket chain Tesco so I thought.......why not.I emailed their IT department, explained who I am and where I work etc,and asked them to link my site on theirs! I'll let you know when I get a reply
Good Luck although I think you will find that large corporations have very strict rules on linking due to obvious reasons. ie They link to a person, that person changes it to a Porn page and they get criticized and lose customers. I have been in a position where a major company wanted to buy a web tool of mine (To use it on their site, I didn't have to take mine down). I told them they could have it if they just linked back to the original tool from anywhere on their site. Instead they sent back all the legal reasons they can't and paid me instead Like I said, Good luck, but it is very difficult to get on a corporate site if you aren't a valid corporation yourself
I have had good luck getting manufacturers to link to business/dealer selling their product. A win win situation so to speak but if your page has nothing to do with the corporation I would not hold my breath. Shannon
I think they should link me all over their site just because I'm a hard working, helpful model employee P.s still haven't heard back from them (isn't that surprising)
Good luck with your venture man, I know around these parts people don't like to do that type of thing because of reasons stated earlier by yfs1
Thats not bravery thats.... *does not want to get negative rep* In other words its not going to happen
I dunno man - I'm gonna say that CostCutters is a close second to Waitrose, just on the basis that I managed to get a buy 1 get 2 Free on Bacon last week! BUY 1 GET 2 FREE! Now *that* is a deal.
