I've embedded some youtube video clips on a page in my site. Am I violating copyright law?

I'm not sure if this is the correct place to ask this question, if it isn't could you suggest a category for it?

this has been discussed before. I forget what thread and I don't feel like searching for it. Basicially a guy posted videos of a celebrity that were on you tube and supposedly received requests from the representing counsil of the celebrity to remove the movies from his site...even though they were obviously embedded from youtube.

Thanks - I'll leave them on in that case.

I searched before I posted the question but could find nothing. If anyone else knows where the relevant thread is I'd be grateful if you let me know

I suppose it's not illegal unless you've uploaded copyrighted materials such as movies, tv drama?

I'm not going to worry about this anymore as I found that the videos can be removed from utube and subsequently from my site. Also, people seem to like my selection
