    am considering promoting my site using youtube but after looking at video's within my sites theme they all have to show the domain name to get people to know of the site. That is ok I guess but why can't you create a video that they can click to my site?

    YouTube is nofollow anyway.

    The best way to promote your site via YouTube is to make a video, and put your URL inside of it. That way everyone who watches the vidio will see it.

    I agree, the best way is to add your URL at the end of the video or add it as a watermark. It gets people thinking about it and if they like the video they will head on over to the website. I have had luck doing this myself.
