I believe youtube is working fine now, they just have a new system to combat bots. Are these unique real views or done using bots, cause AFAIK no bots work at the moment.
err...i am witnessing the increase on my YT vid, using bots, as i write this post. And its not that Yt has padded up and is not registering bot views, for some vids neither bot views nor real views are being registered. Reason: The Bots seriously Screw up the sites bandwidth, which affects the adds on it, and for some reason the views registering system is also suffering
Are they increasing beyond 200-300? The bots only increase the real-time view count until it stops and waits for an update from the youtube database, if youtube DB says you only have 5 views instead of 200 according to the view count, it will not move. I have videos that are 500+ and moving, I have one video boosted with bot to 201, frozen. One of my previous videos boosted with bot to 212 started to move last week when the real visitors > published view count. Read Youtube's latest blog about this subject. They say everything is working as intended.
I've read it...AND its BS, i mean i know that my real time views are increasing! But they too aint showing. I guess ill have to re upload my vids, and only have real time views
that usually means you have already boosted those videos, so they will be frozen until the real views go beyond whatever is published. The solution is to wait until some smart guy cracks this thing. I hope soon!
Cracking this would mean knowing exactly what according to youtube is a real view, we dont know whether the proxies that are usewd to give views are banned or not. Im rightnow increasing the delay, of the view, upto half the video legnth. Fingers crossed
Good luck with your test Sweet Sensation. Youtube probably tracks IP address for a unique view now. Yes the proxies provide an intitial work-around to this problem but we are dealing with Google here. They have a lot of resources and they can keep track of many banned proxy ip addresses if they want to. It was just a matter of when they wanted to stop the fun. It appears to be now. Keep us updated on test results though.
