SEO, keyword placement, content is obviously very important in order to get traffic but it takes a lot of time if done alone or as a beginner, I have learned a lot the past two years, used blogger, WP, hubpages, and many others but now I am now only using WP and I have decided to invest in a few things and I am seeing some progress already. For two years I used free WP themes and free plugins for my sites, I got moderate traffic but nothing out of the ordinary. I decided to invest in a premium theme and video jackpot from profit jackpot and things have sped up dramatically. The theme that I use is socrates and I also use lifestyle from studio press, very good to set up on just about anything from headrers to ad placement and SEO. It gives you fill in the blank spots for keywords, meta tags, and other options as well. I like socrates more between the two. Youtube videos has also been a turnaround point for me, with video jackpot I am able to post videos automatically to my sites related to my keywords as often as I want and I also use the WP auto tagger that picks up the tags from the video as well. One of my sites has almost 300 uv per day in one month and growing, I also use niche finder to get good keywords and related ones as well, this particular site is about facebook games and believe me it is hot. (it's ok there is a lot of room for anyone on this one) A good cheaper alternative to video jackpot is myvideoblog plugin which is only about $30 and it does the job as well, but again the popularity of the videos has made this site and a few other ones get good traffic, I am thinking of making these sites and maybe selling them in the future so there is another alternative to making money. Bottom line is invest in a few good things and thing can speed up a little bit. just wanted to share Take care
