What kind of methods do you use for ranking on YouTube? And does anyone know what actually makes a difference? I haven't been able to tell. I know the obvious things like views, likes, comments factor in, but does YouTube actually rank based on the quality of the views (how long they watch)? And how come some of my videos are under videos with less views, likes, etc?

Google seems to love several words like how to, what is, tutorial, review and more; so use these words and your youtube will rank better.
Length of viewing, and also I think embedding the video on other sides, especially facebook and twitter, will help a ton.
