Does anybody know anything about search engine optimization of video for YouTube search engine? Does it looks only on title, description and tags of video or counts also video backlinks and users' rating?
Just make sure you use your keywords in the title, the name of the file you are uploading, and the description text. Then maybe reply to people's comments and try to sneak in a keyword once in a while.
Yeah this is good advice, i'd agree here, although DON'T spam the tags as many people do and get seriously flamed in the comments for doing so, this would create loads of irrelevant comments and bad ratings.
Dude, Why you want reinvent the wheel!!! you have to do 2 thing: 1.just use the same info (title, description,tag "you can spam tags no problem with youtube") that used by the the N°1 in the result for a specific keyword. 2.you have to find people who can/want vote for your video

Its really a good idea of marketing your site through you tube. The Title Description and Keywords, URL are the most important while submitting your video. Its always often good to place your Keywords in the title...
title/description,etc is important for sure. you also need backlinks and video impressions for the video to be featured on the front page of youtube for your keyword. focus on making it on youtube front page search result which will do the job
