it is just amasing how vicious and money oriented these people are .... those who have an account on youtube know that there's only 2 ways to put your "url" 1- on your channel 2- on your video no spammer can put a link on your video and not even friends can do it . even though i was amazed when i discovered that even for these 2 links youtube use the nofollow tag .... excuse me but there's no reason whatsoever to use this tag if the person that is contributing to youtube can't even get a link unless there's a nofollow tag .... then seriously the site team are manipulating the entire youtube community. just for the record "the nofollow tag" was created to stop spammers and not to start behaving like bastar** when the site becomes big. first wikipedia and now youtube .... what next ??? webmasters if nothing is done about the miss use of the "nofollow tag" everyone will start using it and we'll simply say bye bye to SEO
Good idea for wikipedia - big spam problems were abundant (guilty) not sure about youtube - 1 video/1 link - not a massive trade off. Having said that it makes sense for youtube - they don't want to be affiliated (understandably) with a large number of crap sites on the net (which there ar) Your conclusion is misleading and ridiculous! - No more seo?...come on, think about what you are saying!
