Youtube question: Why doesn't my video appear on youtube search?

    Hi guys,

6 days ago, I uploaded a video to youtube.

In the description, I entered my URL (which no other youtube video has) as well as a very unique "word" (it's not a real keyword - it just helps me identify the video). But when I search for either the URL or the keyword, I get back "No videos found for..."

When I visit the URL of my video, I can see it being there.

Why doesn't the video appear in youtube search? I can see other videos that have been uploaded even as little as 2 hours ago.

    Thanks in advance

Have you tried to contact the youtube help? And sometime it will happen, I suggest you to search the video's title.

Why don't tell us your keywords and youtube link so that we can do testing.

Maybe youtube filters our videos that have URLs in their titles?

When I put a URL in a video title, I always leave off the http and the www, so its just websitename.com - and I add in some keywords with the title.

The thing with youtube, dont come across as spammy. Enter a real title, enter a real description, enter real keywords,,,, and go from there.

youtube gets harder and harder day by day, maybe they ghost your video somehow (e.g. because of your link in the title), try to edit your video and remove the link from the title and see what happens...
