Just wondering what effect embedding a youtube video would have on a posts visibility on google without much text being included in the blog post. Thanks in advance!!

In my opinion, posting youtube video alone with a little content is not optimised. Because then, the content alone is only youtube embedding code..

But I am not a SEO expert..

    That is crap.

If the only content on the page is an embedded YouTube video, you are not going to get any search results for it. Even if you add the feed for the description and comments of the YouTube video, you are not going to get any search results. The page is considered duplicate content and will go into the supplemental results and never see the light of day.

not good dude, if you think of SEO, you probably need quality content rather than the video. otherwise you won't get a good search engine rank.

Why go through the hassle of putting the video on there without the rest of the content? The two go hand in hand.
