I want to apply for a youtube partnership program. I read the qualifications but there aren't any specifics on how many subscribers or channel views you must have. I might have over-looked it so if you know anything please let me know.

    Thanks

There is no exact number. Basically Youtube will just look and see if your worth it. The higher amount of subscribers you have, the higher chance there is they will accept you.

Basically, the main rule to get accepted is have high subscriber and you have few video that reach at least 1000 view.
They you'll have high chance to get accepted.

Yep, exactly. I think it also matters about how many comments you get per video, but I might be wrong.

Here is my opinion on the matter, and in case your wondering, YES, I am a youtube partner. And here is a link to my youtube account to back up my claims - http://www.youtube.com/user/survivalistboards

As far as I know, there are not set in stone guidelines for getting approved. I have seen people with dozens of videos, some of them had been viewed 20,000+ times, they had several hundred subscribers and their application was denied.

If you want to increase your chances on getting approved:

Do not post copyright protected material that does not belong to you. That will get your denied right off the bat.
Post good quality videos - both in resolution and quality content.
Be a youtube member for at least 6 - 8 months before you apply.
Post new videos on a regular basis.
It helps to have a few dozen videos on your account before you apply.

That way the person looking over your application can see that you were posting videos every few days. This shows dedication on your part.

I was a member of youtube for about 15 months, had about 100 videos with a total views of around 1 million before I applied. And I was approved on my first application.

It seems that the longer you have been a member of the youtube community, the better your chances of getting approved. And always remember - NEVER upload content that does not belong to you. If your account is not in good standing when you apply, chances are you will be denied before they even look at your videos or content.
