Youtube or Vimeo for embedding private video

    Hi,

    I have a site wherein I want to show a video to registered users.
    The video is currently uploaded on YouTube and is unlisted.

    I copied the embed codes but it also shows the link "Share" over the video, I don't want to show that option or any other options to users, since its a video meant for private users.

    How do I do that or should I look at Vimeo as an option?

    Since you shared the video with the person viewing it, why shouldn't he able to share it further? He still has the link.

    I would use Vimeo PRO as it looks better and has much more security (does what you want).

    Remember though, there is always a way to access private videos no matter how much security you add sadly.

    VIMEO PRO and YouTube are both excellent options; how you utilise them is up to you.

    You should try with Vimeo because of one reason - you can set everything in your way and make your videos more secure
