I'm getting out of the website business. The Noobist is the most beautiful platform I've ever built. The managers operate independently. The problem is that I don't have the energy anymore to make this explode.

We were also the fastest network given "master network" status, which allows for launching subnetworks and offers eligibility for monthly sponsorship.

Inclusions: domains, software, branding, partners, staff, content, etc. Our attorney will also provide the sales agreement, and in the event of a payment plan, the promissory note, payment schedule, and confessed judgement (required for payment plan). Finally, since this is my last site, if you want the server (dedicated box in Houston, TX for $130/mo), that can be included.

Exclusions: anything not substantially related to The Noobist brand.

 

Interesting but what makes your brand worth $3,000? From what I see is 7 domains and some social media account with not a very big following making $25 a month.
But it definitely looks like you put a hell of alot of effort into the brand with a could be better outcome nonetheless Im very interested is there any way you could contact me via skype, I will pm you my id.

 

Sure. My Skype is taylor.v.smith. The value is tricky to communicate, because it's very non-traditional for DigitalPoint. The revenue won't come from traditional ad revenue. Instead, our YouTube network has a contract with Google to manage the ad revenue of any YouTube channel that we partner.

Adding this clarification on revenue. The payout schedule from Freedom! is three months behind, so we've only received payments for 4 months. These were the earnings:

October 2014: $1.15
November 2014: $18.30
December 2014: $42.80
January 2015: $26.71

As you can see, with the exception of January, our revenue has more than doubled every single month. January is famously low for all YouTuber's universally, because advertizes have just completed the holiday push and are regrouping their resources. We expect the next payment to exceed the $42.80 earned in December.

 

Mobile App

One other thing I forgot to mention. We have purchased development of an iOS and Android mobile app for our news site. This will include monetization options. It is being developed by the same company who created Pizza Hut's app. The finished app will be included in the sale--it's currently around 70% completed. We paid $800 for this project.

Mobile App

We had a mobile app developed for iOS and Android. It was developed by the same company who created Pizza Hut's app. We paid $800 for this project. To make them available in either app store, you'll need to pay the annual fees to Apple app store and Google play store. In the meantime, the developer is hosting a test (not live) version (link provided to prospective buyers). The developer has agreed to provide ongoing support at $15/hr and can be re-hired via Freelancer.com.
