Hello DPers, Some time ago i got youtube monetization offer on my youtube account, but i was confused about the terms and wanted to research and eventually i left this channel inactive for a month or so (no uploads done for some time) now i see this tab and offer is gone Is it means it never comes back or i just need to do some valuable action on my channel again and there is a chance that this offer will come back? Thank you very much for your suggestions!
Did you receive an email as well? If so there should be a link there. If not try uploading some more videos and it may come back. I have been a partner for ages but I still get a banner from time to time saying "Congratulations your account is now enabled for monetisation". These things tend to keep appearing.
John thanks for your reply! No i think i havent received any email, only blue notification on top in video manager section and a tab on side panel were there for some time, but now its gone. I will do as you recogn - will do some activity there to see if it comes back later on. I just got same notification to my another channel and this time i havent missed but still cant find where i add my adsense id. By the way what kind of ads would you suggest in order to avoid negative experience due to annoying ads? Side panel is the most innocent ad looks to me, but in-video probably are more annoying for users (expecially in-steam ad). Do they hardly affect video views in negative way or not much?
Put the maximum ads.. Don't bother with the eternal argument of users being annoyed. If they are annoyed they can go elsewhere, who cares, there are enough people on internet who will not be bothered enough to go elsewhere if you have original content anyway.
The ones to the right of your video are automatic and any monetised video will show them. I personally hate ads in videos and suspect most people do also. I overcame my hatred though when I realised that you really do need to use them or you are losing a large percentage of potential income. I would advise "Overlay in-video ads" which viewers can turn off if they wish. I would also advise "TrueView InStream Ads". These mostly play at the beginning but after 3-5 seconds you can skip the rest. These were introduced by Google when they realised that most people will not sit through 10 seconds or more of "Standard in-stream ads". Google gathers a huge amount of statistics about viewer behaviour regarding ads and it pays to grit your teeth and put up with them, however unnatural it seems to tarnish your work with these annoying intrusions.
try uploading more fresh unique videos and don't try to generate traffic with automatic tools it will lead to your account ban
