Youtube marketing questions...

Hi, a while back I created a video and posted it on Youtube. Since then the video has reached over 2.5 million views(which I consider to be quite amazing) and has racked up 11 honors to date. Now here comes my question. Besides advertising a site in the description and/or displaying a site in the video itself, are there any ways of making money on youtube? Any help would be great.

PS: one of the major factors in the growth of the video was the fact im from canada and racked up canadian awards very quickly.

 

I think that's about it, apart from spamming other videos with links.

 

I don't think you can make money from youtube but once I heard and saw a page from google that youtube is going to be revnue sharing website for adsense account holders but I don't think it is released.

Till now you can only make money if people come to your website through the videos

 

well that's kinda depressing. Well hopefully I can get some good offers making videos for other people.

Yes, they have released it but only for ads outside of youtube, embedded into your own site and only certain people's videos are allowed

 

um adsense partners can make money but that is not a way to market a site at all.

 

one more question: is there any way to edit a video that has already been uploaded and not reset its view count>?
