    hey DP'ers
I know this is a really dumb question but say I put a youtube or any other video hosted on another video directory site like vimeo ecc. in my website, when people go to my page does that count as a view of the video? or do they have to click play in order for that to count as a hit?
N.B the video is not in autoplay

Pardon me if this question sounds stupid...

There are no stupid questions - just stupid answers. No, it will not count as a view if the user don't click the play button. If the user does - then it will.

so obviously this means that the video has to be set on autoplay... That sucks...

Does anybody know if it is ok to embed a youtube video on a website and set the dimensions to 1px (to make it invisible) to increase views or would that be against their policies?
