    YouTube isn't really a search engine. It has a search feature but that doesn't really mean its a search engine.

    The main reason youtube turned into 2nd biggest search engine is the vdos in youtube will be displayed along with the results in google and so most users will go to youtube and continue their search there!!

    I didn't even hear about youtube. I only heard it when google bought it and did some tremendous changes. During that time the concept was quite new and refreshing. No doubt it is one of the most visited sites in the world.
