YouTube Gets Its Own Version Of AdSense

YouTube has made it clear that it’s keen on helping its premium content partners monetize as effectively as possible — and it’s obviously having some success doing it, with the number of monetized views increasing rapidly. Today the site is launching a new feature that will give those monetization rates another boost: YouTube Promoted Video campaigns will now be able to appear on a video’s ‘watch’ page, turning the product into what’s effectively an ‘AdSense for YouTube’.

See the YouTube Biz blog for more.

    Related Videos are Sponsored Ads?
I don't think so. But, I agree with what you said in the first post.

Well, Google is always searching for new ways to earn more money, since Adsense video units didn't work ad they expect they will test more ways to monetize videos, because a lot of people spend a few hours a day watching videos, so the market is there but they need to find how to make good money from video views

it would be nice if they'd monitor sites for inclusion in the ads in a similar way that they monitor sites for inclusion in google news
