    Hello !
    One of my website contains youtube embed videos, regarding a romanian genre of music [ turkish like ] . I developed it, started to gain traffic. I then put some adsense on it. At first, i was maiking about 10-20 a click, depending of the ads.
    This morning, when i woke up, as usually I checked my adsense reports..
    Between all my websites, I observed a verry large difference between 2
    for example :
    youtube content website : 1958 impressions 37 click -> 0.78 $
    strong content website : 452 impressions 8 clicks -> 6.28 $

    So,I am curious why google pays too little for the youtube content? Shouldnt cpc be a lil' bit more?
    And what could be the cause for revenues droping that low? [ 2 months ago it generated ten times more, even 11 times ]
    Any idea is apreciated , 10x

    Hi,

    Youtube content usually earns 2-10 cents per click. Google smart price it after a while because it is not unique content. Spend times on creating quality contents and the more unique, the more you'll get per click.

    Also, combine 3 companies together for best result, especially for the sites that earns nothing for a click.

    1.Adsense - Always good to have it
    2.Kontera - Make around 1/4 of adsense, don't add this to strong content website
    3.Pay Per Play (PPP) - New company with a new kind of ads, Friday, Feb. 15th is the last day to sign up with them. After that, it will be a little harder.

    Hi,

    I posted the following on another thread, it might be useful to read.

    "Google have to smart price because the clicks are not converting well with their advertisers. Their formula is unique and they don't let you in on it. Keep testing different ads networks until you feel it.

    Well, the best thing to do is always test Adsense and Kontera + CPM networks on few of your websites, not just one. I have several websites, some get better rate per click from Adsense than others. For the site that pay high per click, I wouldn't even bother with Kontera or banner networks because it lower my total income when adding when adding more ads networks.

    Let me give you an example on 2 sites.

    Site 1: average $.35 a click from Adsense.
    I added Kontera to test total earnings. Total earnings actually decreases because Kontera click usually don't get more than $.10/click while adsense is making $.35/click. I would receive 10 less click from Adsense in a day and receive 20 clicks from Kontera a day. From Adsense, I would receive - 10 x .35 = -$3.50 and from Kontera 20 x .10 = $2.00. $2.00 - $3.50 = -$1.50. Total earning decrease by $1.50/day after adding Kontera.

    Site 2: average $.05 a click from Adsense.
    Added Kontera to test total earnings. Total earnings increase because total click increases. Receive 50 less click from Adsense and 100 clicks from Kontera. From Adsense - 50 x .05 = - $2.50, for Kontera 100 x $.04 = $4.00. $4.00 = $2.50 = $1.50. Making $1.50 more a day by adding Kontera.

    That's with Adsense and Kontera together. Now, you must also add CPM networks to your site. There are few recommended CPM networks, but they are really hard to get in. The hard ones are ValueClickMedia, Tribalfusion, CasaleMedia, and BurstMedia. The easier CPM networks but pay less include Adbrite, and CPXInteractive. PPP has great potential in the future, just wait few more weeks and you'll find out whether it is good or not.

    Keep testing till you feel which ads combination give you the best results. PM if you have a question, I'll try my best to answer them. I usually don't follow all forum comments, but I always response to PM."
