    Im glad this had sparked such a discussion, some very good points from everyone.

    I have tried it out and it has some pretty good results.

    What I tried to do was comment on the video around 90,000 views (this is the point where most videos go global)

    So it has been a pretty good test of traffic and with enough hard work, it would be a valuble and worthwhile source of visitors.

    If anyone else has tried, due to reading this thread, I would love to hear your results.

    I emebed the videos on my site so that youtube shows the sites its embeded on with a link.. That comes up higher than the comments.
