Hi i was wondering how well the youtube ads pay that google offers? and where and where cant we place the ads? let me know thanks!
On adsense there is a section that says youtube ads that we can place on our site(video ads) i was wondering if they pay good? and i was wondering if i can place this on a video site and if i do decide to place this video ad on a video site what are the rules where can and cant we put the ad on the page? thanks!
YouTube ads don't pay that well, atleast not yet. In the future when more advertisers use them they will, for now its pennies on the dollar compared to contexual ads.
I'm using it on one site right now. It doesnt pay much and honestly the CTR rate on them seems a lot lower than text ads. Which is why I put a text ad above my video Figured if they sit there long enough they may get tired of looking at the ad and click it. I figure its a way to keep them on the site for a minute or two longer.
oh ok cool, but what if i put youtube video ads onto a video site then it can blend in and users will click alot wont they?
I have youtube videos + ads on a site and it's getting 0 clicks. I've put the youtube unit at the end of each page and maybe that's why. But still I'm not using it on any other site because they take much space and the ad is clearly looking like an ad. But maybe if someday I finish every single tasks I set myself, then I'll find time to add youtube ads at the end of all the pages of all my sites.
cool...but i dont think it will really look nice having a youtube ad at the bottom of every page on every site lol IMO
