Can you make money selling Youtube accounts that have subscribers and videos of a certain topic uploaded?

I've never heard of this, but it might be a possibility. I would think though that you would need a lot of subscribers before it would be worth much.

I am sure you can sell anything as long as there is a market for it. You probably wont make much money on you tube accts (1k for $20) you are going to have competition for people who can broker it out to India and get these things super cheep.

This might be very possible, especially if your youtube account is pointed towards a certain nitch.

What about copyrighting? Will the videos on the youtube channel be copyrighted? If so, what name will they be protected under? Will you set up a company name, brand the videos and copyright them with the company name? If so, will you be selling the company along with the youtube channel and all rights to redistribute the videos?

Youtube owns the channel name, so you can not sell it. You can not sell something that does not belong to you. At anytime youtube can delete your channel and all your videos, and you will have no recourse.

But if you own the videos, then you might be able to sell the videos packaged in the youtube channel. Then maybe send the buyer a harddrive with the real videos? Because that is really what you are selling, is the content. Then those videos are uploaded and broadcast through youtube. This gives the buyer something tangible they can touch and see.

If you do not own the videos, you are asking for trouble. Lets say the youtube channel has a lot of music videos that do not belong to you. You upload the videos, then sell the channel and the videos, you might have broken several US and international laws. You could spend the rest of your life paying fines to whoever really owned the videos, plus jail time.

I have a youtube channel that drives traffic to my site. If I ever sell my site, the youtube channel and all the videos go with it. The videos are my original production and my property. So there will be no copyright infringement.

There are a lot of considerations to doing this. You just need to make sure everything stays legal.

I guess you could make money, it would be a bit silly though. There would be your voice over on all of them.
