When you make a youtube account to create videos/advertise your site should you put the name of your site as your username? I am worried if I do it will rank my username higher than my actual site in google. Thoughts?

I would just use a normal username.

Nah, don't overthink things. Use your domain or not, it will not influence your Google ranking much if you have a link back to your site in every video description and profile.

Just use a normal username. Personally when I see a website as a username I don't bother typing it in, because I think its just some scam or porn website.

It has always been my thought if you use your website title as your username, it will help people find your site.
