I am looking forward to start my own blog on my fav niche.
Currently in the phase of gathering info before entering into deep waters.

I am going to get more into my writing and hopefully make a strong name for myself that says, "hey, there's JAM!" I am going to put my heart, soul and energy into writing for my different blogs and hopefully find a well rounded team to knock some ideas that I have for 2009-2011

I have already been taking some more time to read more, as learning is always one of my top goals. Apart from that I would like to be able to spend more time writing for myself - setting up some blogs and writing eBooks.

My writing goals for 2009 (aside from making money!) are to finally get part of a side-project novella laid out. It's been in my head for far too long ;)

My goals are to read more books and especially ones that put me outside of my comfort zone. I'd love to learn about writing in starkly different niches. Secondly I'd like to start my own website for my work, rather than having samples on a blog. I think it would greatly improve my client base and I can also start to use the blog for what it's actually designed for: blogging.

I'd also like to try creative or 'free' writing and start using the left side of my brain more often. I feel the writing I spend so much time on stifles creativity.

Lucy - a good solution might be to use a flexible blog platform like wordpress which allows you to run a static-looking site, and an attached blog very easily. While the site is terribly outdated at the moment, you can see an example of it at my old business site - www.jhmattern.com - It's setup to look like a standard website, but there's also a blog section. The theme I'm using there is free I believe, and it was relatively easy to work with. I'm sure there are plenty of similar ones out there now. :)

The beauty of Wordpress is that you can make it as simple or as complicated as you want. Good place to start. Good call jhmattern

    1) Gain a solid network of copywriting clients that will offer me a steady workflow
    2) Get started writing on my novels and hopefully submit them to publishers

I'd like to start writing at least daily on my blog (easier said than done!), and I'd like to start selling 10 articles/day on average with my content writing team UltraContent. That would be $45-$50 gross income per day, which would be great.

    - Make $1000 per week
    - Start up my food blog and get at least 10000 unique visitors per month, perhaps make it 1/4 of my total income
    - Query at least FIVE magazines
    - Have my professional website up and running (this should actually be done within the next week...woohoo!)

So busy being a writer. It's a fun sort of busy, though!

I want to be more successful at my writing this year. Last year I did ok, but this year I want to be able to write more and have more published. I would like to increase the money that I am making as well and want to be able to do as many money making opportunities that I can this year.
