Your worst mistake ?

    Hi,

    I was wondering if some of the top seo people on DP could tell us about some of the biggest mistakes they made when they started out. I'm very new to SEO and I have already succeeded(failed) in getting banned etc.

    I thought it would be very helpful for me and many other users of DP to hear about the absolute no's no's of seo.

    River is right...plan things out first and finalize thrice

    my greatest mistake was agreeing to exchange links with "PR 0 sites", linkfarms and the so-so sites

    always look at your site as "authority site" and always perform white hat SEO
