Your wordpress knowledge is highly needed!

Hi DP members,

I wonder how many pages we can make in a wordpress site.

I will be having 5 main menus (pages) and in these menus (pages), there would be sub menus too. But after creating 9 pages, I can't add anymore. When I clicked the add new page, I just saw a big blank space, not the interface wherein we can add and write our contents.

Please let me hear your thoughts concerning this.

Have you tried something like this before too?

WordPress can handle much more than that. I have worked with sites that have 300+ pages. This is not an issue with WP I think. Disable all plugins and try.

 

Wordpress can make unlimited pages as far as I know. Try deleting one of your pages and re-create. There must be other issue like plugin conflict or the post-new.php of your wordpress has some problems.

 

there is no limit for creating word press Pages you can create n no of pages.......When we create e commerce shopping apps in Wordpress.lots of pages we create ........i think some wp plugins conflicting.....disable and then try to adding.........new pages

 

I have realized that I guess my theme has something to do with this. I used the flexx theme.

 

Did you tried using the default theme? Is it working?

 

It must be your theme, the page is actually created and menu item as well its just the theme which can't display more menu items becasue of its fixed width.
You can create more space by reducing padding or margin of menu items or by shrinking menu titles.

 

WP can handle a lot of pages though you may need a plan to organize them if you plan on having a lot of pages.

 

use the plugin WP-Page Mash if you have too many pages.
