Your-Websites.com Free Webhost - $2,750 profit in Feb

Good morning/afternoon/evening

You are bidding on a free web hosting service and community. There are currently about 5,000 free websites hosted on our server using Ipanel/Cpanel setup. I bought this website from another owner a little more than a month ago.

REASON FOR SELLING:
There is nothing wrong with the website, I am just putting my time into another venture I just purchased which is on a much higher-level than this website.

SERVER COSTS:
Currently, monthly server costs are about $275. The server details are:
- Two Dual Core Xenon 3ghz each
- 2 GB DIMM Ram
- 2 250 GB hard drives
- 100mbps uplink private/public speed
- 2,000 GB Monthly

The servers are pretty excessive for their needs but when I first purchased the website I had no idea what I was doing and I was freaking out because the site was often overloading. I thought the problem was a need for a stronger server but I now know that it was nothing then CPU hoggers who had a website that had a proxy or another high-cpu application that clogged the servers. I regularly maintain this now and the server strength really could be cut down to only 1 cpu and the cost of the server could go well below $200 per month.

OTHER INFORMATION:
We were featured on one of the free-webhost lists which is where half of our traffic was coming from but around february 23rd they removed our link from their website with NO explanation. As you can see, the revenue slowed down and so did the traffic. Someone who has time to promote this website could get it back up quite quickly. Also note, that I recently submitted the site to 2,000 pr4+ directories and websites so that should kick in soon and bring traffic up. The actual
website(your-websites.com) is hosted on a SEPERATE server than the main server that is mentioned above which hosts all the free websites. This will have to be moved to your own server, or your could be your own first referral to host gator

Revenue Details:

Here is the deal with revenue. When I first bought the site, it wasn't really advertising HostGator so once I marketed it alot harder, the revenue really started coming in. In total for february I made 22 sales to Hostgator which totalled $2,750 in revenue.

As you can see, after about february 23rd the revenue really started dropping. This is because one of the free webhost list websites removed our link from their website with NO explanation. This caused about a 50% drop in traffic and the revenue slowed down likewise. the website list company was emailed many times and they never gave us a response. Someone who has alot of time to promote the site could make their investment back quickly.
