aww man! i love these nostalgic topics man! my 1st sale then check was around early nov, just before my bday. I checked my clickbank and i was like YAYYYY!!!! I was so happy man, and guess what? for the day I started getting in to IM which was jun of 2011, I recorded self blogs on cell phone and talked about my progress and never giving up and things like that. I was so happy when I recorded the moment on screen, I also recorded when I got a video to rank on page 1 for google I was going nuts man. lol I was so happy like, I DID IT I DID IT!!!!! lol. I then recorded when the check came, it was $50, plus another $16 week after because of the 2 month recurring. I was very emotional for me too because I had NO money to even buy a metro card here in NY or gas. or food that day. I was so happy and recorded about how it could benifit someone else (because I may place it on youtube on day). what did i do with the money? I DROVE TO SCHOOL instead of taking train, AND had some chineese food! to boot as myself treat! lol. the 1st slice of pizza is always the best know what i mean!?
My very first dollar is from Google adsense when i am 17 old. I have received 120$ check. It's really an amazing moment for me to earn some bucks online
My first dollar came from a referral to a friend to use Firefox, back when Google used to pay for referrals. I got two friends to get it, and earnt $2, though it wasn't near cashout limit. My first actual dollar i saw, came from a PTC site when I first looked at making money on the internet, and then I realised it was useless without referrals, and I moved into webmastering, and now I'm moving into building mobile applications and games
Speaking of MLM, I used to be at the place called CUtco, i did demos for kitchen cutlery. Good times first job. I got paid 17.50 per visit even if I didnt get a sale. but if you did you got 10 percent commision then your next 4 sales would start giving you 20% commision, and so on. but that was my 1st check actually when i think of it. but it wasnt internet marketing. we had an optional account online to track orders but it was just offline. and i didnt really know what iM was. that was in 2006. I was still in a junior in kingsborough college. lol.
