Recently phpbb has updated their forums to 3.0.6. And a few days ago, I have updated YTT to 3.0.6. I had to remove all of my modifications to make sure the transaction to 3.0.6 would be smooth. I'm proud to say I went smoothly. So currently there are no modifications attached to the site. If you would like me to install any modifications any custom ones I had, I would be gladly to add it for you.

The forum officially started on June 1, 2008. It really hasn't been down since then. I have a great hosting thanks to hawk host. There is about 2 months left in the shared account I have with them. You will get that as well with this website. So you wont have to worry about it for a while.

As far as promotion forums, I have advertised YTT as much as I can. I have even bought ads to advertise YTT. On websites such as bbauthority.com and Forumpromotion.net. I have also bought paid links for YTT to get a better page rank. Currently we are a pr1 forum.

For the revenue, I have made money selling links on YTT. I have made up to 15-25$ a month. It depends on how much I sell them for. i am sure you find other ways to make something for yourself.

As far as the forums traffic is concerned. It has pretty much been up and down. I would like to show you some stats from previous months. I have done as much as I could advertising and making sure I get the traffic to the site.

Nice forum, I've always wanted an active forum

I noticed its severly decreased in traffic, do you know why?

 

I know this guys on msn, its because he updated his phpbb. Had only the default style for a few days. He needs to reinstall all the modifications, but its no problem really to install phpbb modifications. But anyway, I bid.

Yah, you can fix the problem easily.

 

Well yes we did have the default skin for a few days after we updated to 3.0.6. It was because we were waiting for new 3.0.6 skins to come out.

But yes there has been a bit decrease. I have lost a few spots where I have been advertising and getting traffic. Also I haven't been advertising like I used to. But I'm sure with a passion, it can regain a lot more of its stats back.

 

I guess you could say that. I'm thinking some members thought we had lost interest. But it was because The skins were not compatible with the latest version of phpbb yet. But this problem is fixed as there are alot of 3.0.6 skins out there.

Also there are active moderators and I'm sure whoever buys it, they will continue to support the site.

I have done a lot of advertising there. Mainly in my signature. And I show off any things that happens at the forum. I dont have a problem with leaving the site in my signature as it does bring in some traffic.
