Your tips for buy/order buttons on affiliate websites

    Hello everyone,

I have a niche website that uses mainly the amazon affiliate program.
To attract visitors to Amazon, I use a lot of "review articles" where you can see text links, image links and buttons.

My question is for the buttons (I want to increase conversion) :

    - What is your suggestion for the color ? ? I've recently changed my button color to orange because I've heard it's good. Can you confirm ?

    - Should I use the word "Buy" or "Order" on my buttons ? (When people clicks on the button, they are redirected to the product page/listing on Amazon)

I know some people will suggest to use "Add to Cart" but I can't really do that since I don't have a basket on my website. People are redirected to Amazon then they add it there on their basket.

    - Also, Should I use like like "Buy Now!" "Buy it Now!" or use expression like "Buy NameOfProduct Now!"

Thank you very much for your tips,

Perhaps you could do some split testing. If you look around I'm sure you could find a handy script that will rotate the buttons for you. Depending on your setup, meaning whether or not they know they are heading to amazon when they click on the button, my personal preference is too use more call to action keywords like, "Save Now" or "Start Saving", you could get creative if you don't mind longer bigger buttons! Be creative, stand out, and test, test, test!

I'm on WordPress. There are several plugins offering split test but I'm not an expert on this specific domain. I will have to check that out.

Anyone know if doing split test can be bad for the SEO of a website ?

By the way, I'm not doing any split test right now but I do receive more clicks since I've changed the color and size of my "buy buttons".

    Thank you

Blue color has always been considered a color that exudes trust, sincerity and confidence. Not navy blue, but rather royal blue and lighter.

As an example, these two buttons are more likely to get you higher CTR:

As opposed to these two buttons:
