I only looked at the home page, just so you know. The colors are so hurtful to my eyes, that I did not stay around and look at anything. It reminded me of pudding. It was not a pretty sight.
I must agree mate the colours do my eyes in would not spend any time on it because of it - sorry just my thoughts

Well... Monetizing a site is obviously fine, but in this case I think you might have overdone it a little. While I do not find the color scheme particularly appealing, I do not have as strong an negative reaction to it as some others seem to have. I must say that the font text was confusing though, and makes the site rather hard to navigate. Of course, this might increase the number of people clicking one of your adsense ads, but that should not be the ONLY goal of your site IMHO. Geir

It is overloaded with ads. The only thing that tells me what your site is about is the domain name! Make it obvious what you do there immediately! If someone doesn't know what it is, they will click "back" within 3 seconds!

The new look is a lot better. One suggestion is, that the text on the left (what you first read) should be links going to various parts of the site. Also at the bottom of the page, I don't like it when links don't show the target url in the status bar. And don't put "dessert recipies" between all your links... its ugly and real spammy.
I suggest add some images relating to recipes or foods. It will help making your site appealing Just 2 cents.
To me this site suffers form over SEO. Not in Googles eyes but in your visitors. You have sacrificed useability so that it index's well. What good is it being number 1 if no-one stays. The logo is blurry, the ads are the first thing your eyes go to (not in a good way) and the use of the word desserts make you dizzy. I have to struggle to even figure out what the page is. I think it needs a major redesign. (This is based on your "new" design)
