Hi everyone, it's my first post here and i would like your opinions as to the value of 2 of my domain names:

auto-road.com
real-truth.com

Can't see any of them worth more than reg fee max, the hyphen hurts the name a lot

Not only do the hyphens lower the domain name value, the keywords in the domain are not popular at all. I would suggest using a keyword popularity tool and find keywords accordingly before registering a domain

 

Thanks 8everything, I think like many people new to this businness i did the mistake of registering names that maybe sounded good for site development but with no value for anything else.

I see what you are saying. A few weeks ago I used overture and registered the name "hotelmontrealqc.com", after parking the domain on sedo last week I see there is an average of 10 visits a day, I think this proves your point.

 

real-truth.com mid $xx (expose media,newspaper's news)

 

I'd have to say the same. Real-truth could be worth something high $xx, but the other is reg fee imo.
