I've never done it, but it's probably a good way to weed out people you know you wouldn't be compatible with right away. Hell, if I could do it, I'd like to set up an application for girls to fill out to go out on a date with me. I could weed out 95% of the ones I know I wouldn't be compatible with quickly then and not waste everyone's time trying to figure out if you are compatible. Not saying the other 5% are compatible automatically, but someone's answers to questions can clearly make them incompatible.

Yeah, that's the catch 22... someone willing to do that really wouldn't be compatible with me. hah Which is why I said "if I could do it".
I've met my last 3 girlfriends online (over a 10 year time span) Internet dating is great as long as you get on webcam before it goes too far so that you know exactly what you're getting before meeting in person.
I think most girl who prefer online dating over other options of dating are ...how should I put this? ...now so experienced when it comes to relationships.
Its a recent trend and helpful in making friends.I think serious relations never develop here because mostly online daters dont speak the truth.Women should be extra careful before committing anything during online dating.
I mean online dating is just a form of initially getting to know each other. I would never try to "online date" someone that isn't from my local area that I can then have a full normal everyday relationship with.
I say go for it! I've never done it...but have considered it. I've had a hard time meeting guys that I am interested in where I live. So I too, am looking outside of my area. My best friend met her husband online, you would never know it to meet them. Neither of them had trouble dating in the "real world" Just decided to try it out of curiosity. Works for some I guess.
